AeroGarden and Click and Grow are two of the most popular countertop gardening systems, but which one actually grows food better? I put them head-to-head in a three-month experiment growing Orange Hat tomatoes and Baby Butterhead lettuce to compare germination, growth, productivity, and ease of use. The results revealed some surprising differences.
I Tested AeroGarden Nutrients vs Water… and Wow
I tested AeroGarden nutrients versus plain water in a simple hydroponic experiment using lettuce and micro tomatoes. I expected a difference, but the results after 47 days were far more dramatic than I imagined. This experiment is a great reminder of why nutrients matter so much in hydroponic growing — especially when topping up your systems.
